Concerns and Grievances

We want to hear about problems early so we can fix them. Start with your instructor or the office. If that doesn't resolve it, file a written grievance and it will be reviewed under our student grievance procedure.

  • Email grievance@cordialems.com with your name, course, and what happened.
  • Put informal concerns in writing too, so there's a record and nothing gets lost.
  • The full grievance procedure is posted in every course in the online classroom, right after the syllabus.

Fire students may also contact the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, and EMS students the Texas Department of State Health Services, about concerns with a training program.

Communication with Students

  • Course announcements and deadlines are posted in the online classroom and sent by email.
  • Questions about a fire course: fire@cordialems.com
  • Everything else: info@cordialems.com, 1-888-236-7911, or text 210-761-6766.
  • Scheduled maintenance for the online classroom happens Sunday nights, roughly 11 PM to 2 AM Eastern.
