Questions About EMS Courses

How do I enroll?

Use the class schedule to register online. If the course you want isn't listed, call 1-888-236-7911, text 210-761-6766 or email info@cordialems.com and we will set one up.

Are courses online?

Many are. Initial EMS programs are online with in-person skills and clinicals, AHA courses have blended options, and most other courses run in person. Each listing says which format it uses.

What certification will I receive?

A nationally recognized card from the issuing organization (AHA, Red Cross, NAEMT and so on). Initial EMS graduates become eligible to sit for the National Registry exam and apply for Texas certification.

My certification expired. Can I take a refresher?

It depends on the card and how long it has been expired. Some can be renewed with a refresher, others require the full course. Contact us and we will tell you exactly what you need.

Not sure which course you need?

Call or email us, or book a short consultation. We'll match the course to your job or recertification requirement.

Can you teach the class at our location?

Yes. Most of our programs can be taught at your facility, online, or as blended learning. Request a quote and tell us what you need.

Who teaches the courses?

Working fire, EMS and law enforcement professionals who are also certified instructors with classroom experience.

Do I need to buy materials?

For most courses, everything is included. AHA instructor candidates purchase their own instructor materials. Anything extra is listed in the course details on the registration page.

How do I pay? Do you offer payment plans?

Pay by card when you register. Financing is available through PayPal (ask us to set it up), and we can invoice your employer or department. Volunteer fire departments can use HB2604 funds and EMS agencies can use SB 8 funds. Certificates are issued once the balance is paid in full.

What is your refund policy?

Full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of registering, or if the class starts more than 14 days after you register (unless one of the exceptions below applies). Otherwise refunds depend on how far out you cancel:

When You CancelRefund

Less than 24 hours before, or after class startsNo refund

Textbooks, shipping and online course codes are not refundable once a code has been accessed or a book has shipped.

Do you offer group or bulk pricing?

Yes. Contact us with your group size and we will send a tailored quote.

Paying with Grant Funds?

EMS agencies can apply SB 8 funds, and volunteer and combination departments can use SFFMA SAFER reimbursement for EMR and EMT. See funding options.
