Cordial Emergency Medical Services LLC, dba Cordial Fire/EMS Education ("Cordial," "we," "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, our registration system, our online classroom, email and text messaging, and how we use and protect it.

Information We Collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address and organization.
• Registration and certification information: course enrollments, payment records, and identifiers required by certifying bodies such as your TCFP FIDO number, NREMT number or state certification number.
• Course records: attendance, assignments, quiz and exam results, skills evaluations and clinical documentation.
• Website data: basic technical information such as browser type, device type and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies below).

How We Use It

• To register you, deliver your course and issue certificates and cards.
• To report completions to certifying and regulatory bodies when required (for example TCFP, Texas DSHS, NREMT, AHA, American Red Cross, NAEMT and HSI).
• To communicate with you about your course, schedule changes, requirements and requests you send us.
• To send newsletters, class announcements and offers if you subscribe.
• To process payments and keep records required by law and by our accrediting organizations.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, Cordial Fire/EMS Education may text you about your inquiry, registration, class reminders, schedule changes and course requirements. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help, or contact us at 1-888-236-7911 or info@cordialems.com. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and the provider that delivers our messages, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our text messaging terms.

Email

If you join our mailing list we send class dates, reminders, news and occasional offers, about twice a month. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Our mailing list is managed by Kit (ConvertKit), and our website forms are delivered to us by Formspree.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. This website uses:

• Essential storage to remember your cookie choice and whether you have already seen our newsletter invitation.
• Third-party cookies set by services embedded in or linked from this site, such as our Enrollware registration system, Calendly scheduling, Kit and Google Maps, which may use cookies to operate and measure their services.

We do not use cookies to sell your information. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner on this site, change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect registration or scheduling features.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with certifying and regulatory bodies as required, with service providers who help us operate (registration, payment, learning management, email, forms and messaging providers) under obligations to protect it, with an employer or department that sponsors your training, or when required by law. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, as described above.

Third-Party Services

Registration and payment are handled by Enrollware and its payment processors, and online courses are delivered through our Moodle learning platform. Those services have their own privacy policies.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, and keep training records for as long as our regulators and accrediting organizations require.

Children

Some community courses, such as babysitting and Jr. Lifeguarding, are designed for students under 18. We collect information about minors only with a parent or guardian's involvement for registration and certification. This website is not directed to children under 13.

Your Choices

You can ask to review, correct or delete your information (except records we must keep for certification or by law), unsubscribe from emails at any time, and reply STOP to end text messages. Contact info@cordialems.com or 1-888-236-7911.

We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
